Lytham and St Annes buyers tend to be after the same thing, and it is rarely the cheapest car on the market. It is a tidy one with a history behind it, that will not need anything doing for a while, bought from someone who will still pick up the phone afterwards.
That is more or less the brief we buy to.
Small stock, on purpose
We carry about six cars rather than a field of them. Every one is bought individually, prepared before it goes out, and listed here with photographs of that actual car and its real mileage. Current stock runs from roughly £1,200 to £10,000.
The advantage of a short row of cars is that we can tell you the story of each one. Where it came from, what the MOT history looks like, what we replaced. A hundred-car site cannot do that and stay honest.
What we would ask before you buy anything
Whoever you buy from, ask for the MOT history and read the advisories rather than the pass. Advisories are where a car tells you what it is about to need. A clean pass with four years of the same advisory quietly repeating is not a clean car.
The drive up
Kirkham is a short run north across the Fylde, either up through Wrea Green or round on the A584 and A583. We are open seven days, including Sunday, so it does not have to eat a working day.
